SHS 2 CORE MATH | Mensuration 1 - Area and Perimeter of Parallelogram, Trapezium, Rhombus, Kites

Mensuration is the branch of mathematics that studies the measurements of geometric figures and their parameters like the length, area, volume etc.
We are going to focus on the area and perimeter of a Parallelogram, Trapezium, Rhombus and Kites.
Let's look at the are and perimeter of these plane figures....

Parallelogram
Area = b*h
Perimeter = 2(b) + 2(s)

Trapezium
Area = 1/2(a+b)h
Perimeter = AB + BC + CD + AD

Rhombus
Area = 1/2(a*b)
Perimeter = 4L

Kites
Area = 1/2(a*b)
Perimeter = AB + BC + CD + AD
