I am the proud owner of many wonderful machines and today I'm unboxing another to add to the collection. This is the highest end Mid-2011 Mac mini featuring a Core i7 processor and discrete Radeon graphics. This was the first Mac mini to ditch the optical drive, first to feature core i series processors and the first with Thunderbolt. Despite it's age, this little beast isn't a far cry from the current Mac minis at all and actually beats them out in a fair few areas, especially upgradability!
