Dell Driver Error Win 7: AddDllDirectory could not be located.. library KERNEL32.dll. Need KB253362

I was getting the following error when trying to install any driver file on my dell latitude e6430. The popup error would read something like:

"The procedure entry point AddDllDirectory could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

1. The possible solution is to install windows KB update "KB2533623"

3. You actually need Microsoft Update Catalog - KB4457144 to install KB2533623
