In Nova Roma, you are the head of an ancient and noble roman house helping Emperor Constantine establish his new capital. Deploy your family members and retainers to accomplish a variety of goals. Procure building materials, construct palaces, secure sea routes, race in the hippodrome, and attract population to the new capital. At the end of the game, the family that has done the most to please Emperor Constantine will be the recipient of untold riches and eternal fame.

This is a city-building, hippodrome-racing, estate-management, competitive euro game. Featuring a unique, pattern building, grid activation game mechanism. Earn VP for a wide variety of tasks. The player with the most VP at the end of the game is the winner.
