Simcraft for beginners! Learn how to use Simcraft to find out how much damage your character should be doing, compare trinkets and other gear, find out the best talents and get accurate stat weights for your character. This Beginner's Guide to Simcraft will walk you through using Simcraft to get detailed, easy to understand info on how your World of Warcraft character should be performing.

In Legion, Warforging, Titanforging and random gem slots have made determining gear upgrades a bit of a puzzle, especially for trinkets! Use Simcraft to get real answers on which trinkets perform better for single target and multitarget raid fights. Note that due to the unpredicatable nature of healing, there aren't really sims for raid healing so this is mostly a tool for configuring DPS and Tank characters. This guide mostly deals with learning your way around Simcraft and running DPS Sims.
