The video colour really does not do this pod justice at all. It looks kinda burgundy on here, but isn`t like that in real life.
It` a sweet and rich-tasting pepper with a big hit of heat for something so small. Once the sweet, fruity notes go, it tastes very vegetal and that is a nice contrast with the initial flavors.
How hot was it? Just a little hotter than a regular sized Orange Habanero. Pretty hot for something this small.
Did it make me ill? No, not this. I ate a couple more after I filmed this and they are delicious.
On my scale a 3/10. A slow burner that gets up there and takes you by surprise.
