Hotone Ampero II Stomp: How to Firmware Update

To all Ampero II Stomp users: This update is big one, packed with loads of new features. Due to these additions, there's been bunch of new stuff added to data in presets. So, after you upgrade firmware, presets need to undergo some data conversion. We've included automatic conversion feature after upgrade, but if you're experiencing crashes now, it might be because data conversion didn't go as planned.

If you run into crashes after the upgrade, here's what you can do to get your effects pedal back to normal:
1. Power off pedal, then simultaneously hold down MENU/VALUE knob and 2nd and 3rd footswitches before turning power back on. This should force pedal into forced firmware upgrade mode.
2. Connect pedal to your computer, fire up Ampero II Stomp v1.3.0 software, should automatically show firmware update button. Click it, choose Ampero II Stomp v1.3.0 firmware (you can download it from our website) and confirm to roll back firmware.
3. After successfully rolling back, use Ampero II Stomp v1.3.0 software again to export and save your presets to suitable location on your computer.
4. Reset pedal to factory settings, then use Ampero II Stomp v1.3.0 software to upgrade to v2.0.0 firmware following normal steps.
5. Once you've upgraded to v2.0.0 firmware, if you're using pedal standalone and it's working fine but encountering connection issues when hooked up to your computer (just keeps spinning) or it's crashing outright, head to Hotone website to download latest USB Audio firmware and follow the update guide included in zip-file.
